My parents handed out candy while my friend and her kids went all over the region with my son and I. I still can't conceive how many kids there are in this neighborhood. I don't think it'll be this busy in the country that we're moving to. I suppose we'll get out next year!Thisweek we hold meetings scheduled with two builders to discuss designing and building our house. Did I observe that we're moving? We purchased a vacant patch of soil in Bloomfield Hills so we can be nearer to my son's school and friends. So, now I get to project a house. My husband said that all he wants is his garage space and I can design everything else. He means it too! I must say, I'm a short anxious about getting overwhelmed with it all. But, I think that's why you take a constructor and architect! We make 3 months to design the family as our goal for breaking ground is February 2011. I trust we have it!I've been sooooooo lucky this week! I exhausted every day in my craft room! Yay me! Last Saturday I received my DT package from Magnolia and I've been running on my next magazine submissions ever since. I suppose I'm almost done. Maybe one more! I can't stop! It's a sickness - hehe. And now for the reason we're here today! This month's Magnolia-licious DT challenge was up to Barb Hardeman. She has challenged us to build a shaker card using any Magnolia image. I've never made a shaker card before now, so I was a slight anxious about it. I kept it in the rear of my mind all week, trying to flesh out what to do with it. Finally, on Thursday, the conditions in Michigan cooled down to a chilly 50 degrees and it was my inspiration! I thought, if something is leaving to 'stir' in Chicago in November, it's got to be SNOW! And 'snow' made me conceive of a SNOWMAN! I just happened to have a Magnolia snowman image. I took it out of my 'Christmas' drawer and off I went. I only enjoy the result! Thanks so much Barb for the challenge! I never would have made this if it weren't for you :-)AND, to top it off, you too can connect in on the fun! Hop on over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog and record your own 'shaker' card. If you're not certain what to do, HERE's a link to a tutorial that was very helpful to me.So, without farther delay.here's my card. I promise you wish it!
