More rain forecast, Murree receives 6 inches of snow

The Met office has forecast that widespread rains with isolated heavy showers will remain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Balochistan on Thursday and Friday.
While more snowfall is predicted over the hills of Murree and Galliyat, Kashmir, Malakand and Hazara divisions during this period. The current wet spell is potential to settle in the central and lower parts of the land on Friday.

Forecasters said northern Scotland was set for a cover of snow later, which could open to the remainder of the area by the weekend.

Temperatures will fall below zero and up to 10cm (4in) of coke could come in mountainous areas, with 2-5cm of snow settling in localized patches inland, including the East Midlands, central Scotland and north-west Wales.
