Here are some facts about the elusive snow leopard:

1. Wild cats live snow leopards in the mountains of South and Central Asia.

2. These cats are known for their lifestyle and the fact that they are ineffective to roar - something that prevents their inclusion in the big cats.

3. Live at elevations above 4000-5000 feet, in extreme weather conditions and difficult terrain, snow leopards are among the specialized of all wild cats.

News from the Hughes: Snow Days

The most recent winter storm came at a convenient time because we have been sick! Ethan had a sinus infection and now I have Strep throat.

We didn't get as much snow as we did on Christmas Day, and the ice has been more dangerous this time round so schools have been closed all week!

Hannah really wanted to pass in the blow the early day, so we bundled up both kids and let them walk round the floor a small bit.
